As a company providing senior citizen moving services, We know moving an elderly loved one can be a stressful time. Let our team here at Sharky's Moving take some of that stress away by managing your move from beginning to the end. Whether it's downsizing to a smaller home or moving into senior living you can rely on Sharky's Moving to provide compassionate full service moving and packing services. Need help Downsizing? no problem. We can take care of junk removal and taking donations to your choice of charity. This service is good for the state of Virginia only. Senior Citizen Local Move Two Movers + Truck Hourly at $155 an hour with a 3 hour minimum Time starts when the movers arrive and ends once the last item is placed to your satisfaction. We provide plastic wrap and basic tools at no extra charge. A Deposit of $50 will be required for all online bookings. Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from your final charges. If outside the Charlottesville area please take a look at our travel fees below. Travel Fees & Mileage: Sharky’s Moving & Delivery does not charge per mile. Sharky’s Moving & Delivery charges a flat travel fee based on time and mileage for the pickup location and/or the destination. Travel fees are added when any location is twenty six miles or more from Sharky’s Moving & Delivery office location. The customer will be charged a total of four hours at the hourly rate for their move and then the additional travel fee based on mileage. No other fees or charges are added to the bill. Note: No Pianos, No Hot tubs, No Gas operated Vehicles or Equipment, No Hazardous Materials. Any oversized/overweight items may incur additional fees.
